FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
See all FAQs here.
What is the difference between Taekwondo and Karate?
Karate is a Japanese martial art, whereas Taekwondo originates from Korea. Both are traditional striking martial arts with a strong sports element, but Taekwondo places considerable emphasis on kicking and is a recognised Olympic sport.
Why should I do Taekwondo?
Keeping fit and learning self-defence is extremely useful in life. We provide classes built around cardio, flexibility, self-defence, and Taekwondo techniques. Just like Karate and other mixed martial arts, Taekwondo is a great form of self-defence.
Is there an age limit for Taekwondo?
We pride ourselves on being a fun, family run centre, providing the best martial arts on the Gold Coast.
Classes are for all ages, starting from 4 years old through to adults.
Our kids and parents have the opportunity to grade together and progress through our Taekwondo belt system as a family.
